Ray Stevens has hosted radio shows all over the Chicago area, and he’s one of the funniest and nicest people I’ve ever worked with in the radio biz. He shared a story from his rambunctious youth when he went on a trip with his friends half way across the country that lasted long enough for his parents to cut off the cash flow, causing him to get creative in coming up with money to get home.
