Rick Kaempfer is the co-host of the Minutia Men podcast, the author of several books including “Severance” and “Every Cub Ever,” which is a book that absolutely delivers what it promises. He shared the story of the time a nice family trip to East Germany at the height of the Cold War nearly turned into an international incident after he brought the wrong ID with him.
